Reclaiming PPI

It would be great if someone can answer this query for me. Can PPI be reclaimed on any part of these loans, taken out with RBS ?
15.000 loan taken out in 2001 with PPI in place, the outstanding balance on this loan was repaid, early, in full in February 2004 when it was consolidated into a larger loan.
This larger loan with PPI in place, was repaid, early, in full in June 2005.
With the start of the loan taken out in 2001 being beyond the 5 years required in Scotland for keeping data, can PPI be reclaimed for any of the monthly payments that were still being paid within the last 5 years?
Thanks in advance.

If you have no records and they say they have no records (which i doubt!!) then you could always go for an unfair rebate on the first loan and it would be the 2004 that would be the date if the claim went to the FOS. Also I would still try first for the misselling as unfair rebate is usually less. If you join the PPI reclaiming discussion thread then we can help you better there.

thank you, they say they have no information relating to the loan being taken out in 2001. The PPI on that loan was definitely mis-sold, as was the PPI in 2004 loan, which I will apply for reclaiming. I was just wondering if reclaiming was possible on the monthly payments that were made within the last five years.

How do I join the PPI reclaiming discussion thread?
