  • ... anyone know if this site is real, i sooooo want these boots
Faker than a fake thing that has been copied 15 times by Fakir the Faker.

You only have to read the "About Us" page or "Term of Use" (or "Team of Us" as it says in the menu) to see some quite unique ways of using the English language to know that this Repuplic of Moldova based site (garnered from the IP address as their Whois records have been anonymized) is not going to be kosher. I'm sure they are particularly proud of phrases such as "Our store is absorbed in improving services" or "Our store is currently deadly welcomed by a large number of new customers"

Not to mention the "too good to be true" prices, the fact that Dekkers don't allow anyone other than themselves to use "Uggs" in their web address if they want to supply genuine Uggs and it isn't on Dekkers Approved
Online Retailers List which can be found on www.uggAustralia.com.

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

Yes Stumpy, it's a Chinese website which means that everything will be counterfeit and buyers stand the chance of having their credit cards cloned.

Web of Trust says this site has a poor reputation.

  • thankyouuuu, just wanted to check in case i was missing a bargain, will avoid. Think i'm going to get them from office :)
  • There's an offer on Amazon at the moment where if you sign up for their clothing emails you get 20% off certain items. Unfortunately once you've signed up the link disappears so I can't post it, but it works on Uggs sold by Amazon, and brought Chocolate Bailey Buttons down to £99.96 for me.

Do you think this website (a Bit of Magic) sells genuine UGGS?

From their website for UGG Bailey boots (one button):
These suede boots come with luxurious sheep skin lining for the utmost warmth and comfort plus tough seam piping, a moulded EVA light and flexible outsole and reinforced heel construction for durability as well as the classic woven tab on the back.

    From UGG Australia website:
A fresh take on the timeless style of the Classic Short, the Womens Bailey Button features wooden logo buttons with elastic-band closures and signature Twinface sheepskin

Proper sheepskin is not "suede with sheep skin lining".

Their blurb for the 3 button Bailey boot does actually say 'signature Twinface sheepskin'.

I wouldn't risk ordering from this website.

Basic rule of thumb: If it isn't on here:
    http://www.uggaustralia.co.uk/uk-online-retailers/authorized-online-retailers,en_GB,pg.html
    they aren't Dekkers Uggs.
Even more basic rule of thumb: If you feel the urge to emphasise the price with exclaimation marks, they aren't Dekkers Uggs either.

    Assuming you mean this one...

This is the same registrant as qualityforless2010.co.uk and starlight-time.co.uk, two other scam sites. I can't be bothered looking for any more but I would guess them to be out there. He might have turned over a new leaf and decided not to scam people any more, but do you want to be the first to test that hypothesis?

    p.s.
If nothing else they are in breach of domain name registration rules by registering as an Individual. Never, ever buy from a website that isn't registered as a business.

I've bought some classic tall chestnut uggs today from Rubbersoles through Quidco.

They have a staggered discount system, depending on how much you spend. I used 20% over a spend over £125 plus 8% cash back and I just got my uggs for under £150!!

    Anyway, hope that helps someone.
