  • I appreciate your feedback Stumpy. I posted on this thread because I had doubts and was seeking help from more experienced internet shoppers. I'm glad you've confirmed my suspicions that it was, as I said "too good to be true", I just question the necessity of you to sound like such a **** . On the basis of your reply I used google to find a website that you can check domain names, so in future I won't waste your precious time with such useless questions.

Hi i wonder if someone who purchased uggs would be able to help me. I just want to know if anyone who has genuine uggs has boots with these characteristics or if they are fake? My boyfriend bought short uggs off ebay (hes a guy and didnt realise they would probably be fake off ebay). They cost £150 which seemed a realistic enough price. Recieved them and on reading the two pale yellow leaflets in box I started to panic. There were errors such as "anydeep" one word "en sure" with a space and "d y e" with spacings. On the back of the box it has website www. (space) uggaustralia.com and two sentences underneath about recycling but 2nd sentence has not got a capital letter. This caused the alarm bells ringing, surely a company as big as this would have proof readers? Does everyone elses leaflets have this on it? Also it had the ugg authenication leaflet in the bnox but doesnt have the ugg sticker on the outside of the box (it does have one inside the left boot but is dubious as can see some white lines from material underneath through it and doesnt do exactly what leaflet says it should). Also a small hole in sole round the bottom, had some fur shed on first wear and small amount of fur comes through joins and a few loose thread ends. Ive never had uggs before but not sure what to expect? I would appreciate some help as ive got 4 days to make a claim on ebay. She says I can return if unworn but have worn once (not noticable).

Havent read all this thread but what colour are your boots? Regardless of colour the fur in the bottom should be cream AND you should be able turn the tops over easily.

    Hello cor26

I have purchased genuine Ugg Boots from an approved supplier and I kept the labels and leaflets, so I can answer your queries.;)

There were errors such as "anydeep" one word "en sure" with a space and "d y e" with spacings.

    My cream leaflet says:

These materials have been treated with the finest dyes. As with any deep, rich shade, some dye transfer may occur into light clothing or furniture. (the words any deep are separate and the word dye has no spacings.;))

UGG footwear will age over time, and proper care for your new purchase will ensure even wear. (the wear ensure is not two separate words.;))

The label on the outside of the box should be the new security label. If you turn it 90 degrees, the sun logos will change from black to white. So how it looks is..............as you hold it the strip is all dark grey but when you tilt it, the sun logos inside the grey strip turn silver.;)

I'm afraid from your description, it sounds like your boots are not genuine Ugg boots.

I hope you get a full refund.

Just ordered tall chestnut for £147 from young fashion ideas. Very happy, almost paid £215 in John Lewis yesterday but couldn't part with that much.

Please, please ask for advice on the eBay board here first. Raising a 'fake' dispute may not be as straightforward as it should be.
  • Does anyone know if this site sells genuine UGG boots? It seems genuine. http://www.finebootsuk.com/
