Newbie-Today the day to be MF???

Hi everybody, I'm new here so be gentle.

Are Land registry deeds now kept electronically by the land registry??

Obviously they are returned when you pay off your mortgage and I was wondering how to keep them safe?

Thanks In Advance for any answers

Yeap they are electronic these days, but always an idea to keep the original hard copy ones as they hold some useful historic information.
  • Um, well, using an online calculator it says if you have a £50 mortgage for 11 years @ 5% constant, the payment is 49p a month, cost in interest £15.11, total £65.11 so no early repayment charge will fall due but does it say in your T&C's that Abbey would charge any admin fee?
