ePinnacle - Any PSP orders delivered yet?

Seems that the company epinnacle is giving people problems with orders and failure to deliver goods. I put the reply (below) to a previous PSP thread on this site.
I ordered a PSP with a game from ePinnacle on 11 November for £199. They despatched the spare battery (that came with the package) to me but then after 11 days (their mailing time is 5 to 10 days) when I chased the order up they said thay had cancelled it because they were having problems with Paypal.
However, they offered to upgrade my order to a Giga Pack at no extra cost and I also managed to wrangle the inclusion of an extra game (through numerous e-mail exchanges). I ordered again and paid via a credit card and was assured that it would be delivered by Thursday 1 December. Now 2 December and still no item. I have blitzed them with another e-mail this morning chasing the order up again. If delievered it will be a good package - Giga Pack with 1Gb card and game for £199.
Has anyone ever had a delivery of a PSP from this company?
Has anyone had any success in contacting the company or indeed, getting anything of importance delivered from them?

I got exactly the same response when I queried an order. I was suspicious of them using PayPal in the first place, but was reassured because I had some protection. When they asked for payment by cheque I was really suspicious and didn't take the bait if a 1Gb card. Have stuck with Amazon: sometimes the old dependables are better. Having said that the refund to Paypal went through straight away.0

Interesting when people talk about getting refunded through Paypal.
When I put my first order in and paid through Paypal, epinnacle didn't take anything from the account at all. Then after 11 days when they cancelled my order they said it normally takes 10 days to recieve the money from Paypal anyway, and that was the reason they were not going to use them anymore.0 -
I live near the postal Address given on their website...

Although it took a bit of time, I did get the PSP ordered by me. In fact I found epinnacles customer service to be brilliant as they offered me a £20 credit for the delay and the inconvenience that this would cause. Was a Japanese PSP though, so all they seem to be doing is importing and selling on.if i had known then what i know now0

I also have the same problem, I placed my order on the 19th November and still no PSP although I did recieve part of my order which was the spare battery pack...
I have sent several emails to epinnacle but without any responses, there live support on there website is always unavailable! I have even tried to phone them but it cuts into a answer machine message.
Its total unacceptable to say that they have PSP's in stock when they definifely haven't
How can I get in contact with them? Has anyone else been successful?0 -

I ordered a Sony PSP from ePinnacle on the 28th November 2005. I paid through their third party payments handler 2checkout.com. I received an order confirmation, and the funds were taken from my bank account.
I received no notification of despatch, so I sent a number of emails requesting the status of my order. I was advised that there was a delay due to the number of Christmas orders. Eventually my order status was updated to 'order processed-passed to warehouse' on the 6th December 2005, so I was happy in the knowledge that my order would be despatched.
This morning I received an email from 2checkout.com, advising that they had been instructed to refund my account.
I have logged into ePinnacle to check my order status, which is now showing 'cancelled' due to problems with 2checkout.com. The message advises that if I wish to proceed with the order, I should make payment using an alternative method for which they will provide a 5% discount. They also advised that I would receive a refund within 1 hour.
I have tried to contact ePinnacle by telephone and by email. The telephone number is simply an answerphone message which cuts off, and I have had no response to my emails. Their online support desk is constantly offline! I have not received my refund, and have contacted 2checkout.com who advise that they are no longer accepting orders from ePinnacle due to "epinnacle wishes to be paid for products that have not been delivered to our buyers. That is contrary to the terms of the Supplier Agreement for 2Checkout.com vendors." I have been advised that the refund will be in my account in 7-10 days.
I have paid for an expensive item which has not been despatched. I now need to wait for 7-10 days for a refund, and so it looks like I won't be able to order the item from another supplier prior to Christmas.
I am annoyed to say the least!!!
I have submitted a report on https://www.ixat.net which can be viewed here:-
http://ixat.net/Default.asp?PageID=24&BranchID=4207
I have also reported ePinnacle to my local trading standards office.
Can I suggest that other users who have experienced problems do likewise?
Regards
PS - I have just received an email from 'Ken' advising that they are chasing my refund - I await with baited breath!0 -
i just replied to another thread on this subject.
I ordered a psp gigapack and received it fine with no problems atall.
I emailed the company once just to query the delivery date so i could make sure i was in and i got a reply almost immediately.
I will use the company again as iv had no problems atall. And i also found the customer service great0 -
Update:
I managed to get a reponse from 'Ken' and he said that my order has been dispatched and I will be recieving it shortly, he also gave me a tracking number.
That was on the 6th, and I have yet to recieve my order, I checked to see if the tracking code worked and it seems to be a legitimate number so hopefully the delay now is Royal Mails problem, although I'm not convenienced that I'm definaifely going to recieve it as I've heard other people that recieved a tracking no and still haven't recieved their order....
So I suppose I'll wait a few more days to see what happens, then if nothing I will go down the same route as mum2buzz.0 -
Update:
Just a note that I have now received my refund from epinnacle (via 2checkout.com) and so have ordered the PSP from play.com.
I hope the rest of the users being messed around manage to get a satisfactory outcome.
In any event my complaint has already been lodged with the local trading standards.0
