1 litre of UHT milk for 17p at Sainsburys....stock up!

It's for WHOLE MILK, the UHT 1 litre cartons. Normal price 67p. I think they are replacing the standard litre packs with tetra-packs which is why the standard cartons are hugely reduced. EDIT: these are on the food shelves, not in the fridge. Mine have an 11th December use-by date. I bought a crate. The deal is not showing at the online store.

Quite handy for me because I used to be in the merchant navy and got used to UHT milk. So that's me sorted for milk for the next 2 months . Plus, no more early morning trips to the newsagent when I've run out or hulking 2 litre packs back from the supermarket every few days!

i i know youve clearly stated WHOLE MILK lol but i thought i would ask just incase if you saw any skimmed milk on offer at all?

I really can't remember. I just noticed the whole milk, but it may include the other varieties.

Just thought I'd say that there are none in our local store. Milk is all full-price.

nothing at all wrong with uht whole milk. i love the stuff. all 3 of my kids have been brought up on the stuff and will drink no other milk. thanks op

Skimmed UHT I find tastes the same as fresh, though I guess most people here would probably say that neither taste of anything!
