for those of you who missed out on the deal from three via quidco where you got mobile broadband internet half price - I saved two of the links and they still work!!!!

I bought one of these last Thursday whilst it was still "advertised" on quidco. (It did say that that was the last day - ended at midnight Oct 2nd - and it had disappeared by the following Friday morning)

However the point of my post - the ordering pages at 3store for the half-price £5/£7.50/£15 deals for 1gb/5gb/15gb all clearly stated that the offer was valid until 31st October 2008.

So the quidco bit probably might not work anymore but the offer at 3store should continue until the end of the month.

RIGHT, if anyone still wants this, Quidco still has "cashback" links to 3Mobile but the offers no longer seem to be half price and the contact has increased to 24 months (from 18)

Just about to purchase a second 3 mobile broadband package for a friend.

I have a bit of a newbie question with regards to the deals in the above mentioned posts...... will this work:

-Logging in to quidco,

-go to 3 site via quidco,

-then copy and past one of the above links into the address box at the top of internet explorer.

-and then completing my order.

Will this not then "log me out" from quidco and and just direct me to the Half price 3 offer? How will quidco know that I'm purchasing via them when copy and pasting the link?

Sorry if a bit of a dumb question as i'm quite new to the cashback sites

What you are trying to do might or might not work.

I presume you've checked that Quidco have not resurrected the offer ?

However what I will say is that when going from Quidco (make sure you've logged in first) to 3store you will almost certainly swap using a URL that has

&id=1183

on the end - which as far as I am aware is the identifer to 3store that you have come via Quidco and vice-versa, so retaining this when you substitute URLs I suggest is important.

Alternatively forget the £12.50 quidco bit and get the £15 refer a friend option.
The latter is £2.50 more and quidco quite possibly might not work.

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but are the above links for ANYONE to use? ie, not simply for existing customers or quidco members?

I want to pass on the details to a relative but don't want any reprocussions for her later on, as she would be a new customer and isn't on quidco.

well i have just spoken to a three store and the half price offer is still on instore but only if you are an existing 3 customer.

she also said there was no mention in any of their literature about the wireless modem being half price.

i'm not a 3 customer, so i went through quidco, used the links above, changed the end of the url to add the info from quoia, and bought the modem at 69.99.

will let you know if it tracks. being delivered saturday.
