Hi does anyone have any reccomendations where we could celebrate hogmanay and an 80th birthday around the glasgow area NEXT year?(same night). A hotel would be good.all help appreciated .Thanks:)

Hiya - have you looked at the restaurant sites (toptable, 5pm) or the travel sites (tripadvisor). Using them, I found a fab Dinner, B&B deal in the Borders... You might also try for hotel deals on dedicated hotel sites, like:
Best Loved Hotels, Glasgow, with offers
Active Hotels
Venere
OR to save squids, wait and sign up for 1 month free (or is it 3?) with SugarVine's HiLife Scotland card and save considerably...provided your hotel/restaurant/inn is signed up to HiLife, that is! (I had a HiLife NorthEast card which paid for itself in 1 weekend getaway to York.)
