Evening all!

What a crazy day! Started off normal ... went to work etc ... then got a phone call off OH saying he had to go to work :eek: he's been out of work since february!! An agency called him as they'd been let down for factory work and needed him for a 2 -10 shift (they called him at 3 and he got there for 4) and it's ongoing work :j Arrived home to find prizes of a book, a Joystick Junkies t shirt and some Avery products ... and a broken Grolsch glass as the postie had chucked it over the back fence :mad::mad: luckily it has a returns slip in it so I'll call them tomorrow to arrange to send it back.

Also got a letter of the housing benefit people saying that they're not taking us to court as they'd threatened to for an overpayment last year but we have to pay back £255, which i can cope with

Babysitting in 30 mins and OH won't be back til 10.30 :eek: but the lads are old enough to look after themselves so I'll probably be on here all night :rotfl: Weekend off work so can afford a late one :j

although i didnt join the 2008 club i have broken it.
my mission for this year hasnt finished yet because i have said to myself that im gonna wina car this year
got 2.5 months left

next year i'm gonna better myself
i'm gonna win one of everything
eg big cash prize holiday car,tv,computer etc etc

Evening all.
Haven't posted much but have been reading, big hugs to all.

First week of work over and it's going really well, don't feel so much the spare part, getting into the routine of stuff.

So am off the weekend, hubby gone fishing, ordered pizza to be delivered (can't be bothered to cook) and relaxing with a bottle of wine tonight me thinks.:D

Hi Everyone...

I wonder if you can help us out. My daughter's school has a charity week next week and she has come home with a quiz sheet of abbreviations, (7 D in a W = 7 Days in a Week). She has to pay £1 to enter and the winner gets a prize. We have managed to work out 39 of the 40 but are stuck on one of them. We have been trying to work it out since she got home from school but its now driving us nuts.

The abbreviation is:

3 AC?

We were thinking 3's A Crowd but as it has a question mark after it, we are not sure

Any ideas greatly appreciated...

I think if we don't come up with something else before Monday that's what we will put... we had a similar quiz at school before and it was lyrics from songs and we had to identify the song and artist. She won a tin of quality street from that one...

When it is all finished and winner is announced I will post them all on here for people to do them and compare them with the answers we had for them.
