im knee deep in destroying my sons room, im so annoyed at the "dirty underwear and sock" shoved behind a chest of draws, he knows to bring his laundry basket down nightly, i usually just hoover and change his bed everyday and a quick polish but today is the day when i pull beds out and wipe skirting and windows, so ive decided as he has friends over later, i wont say ought, but come tomorrow when his ps3 and telly and ipod are gone he will figure what i found xxxx ive had to do a ruddy boilwash to get those gruds clean! xxx hows u feeling bell? did u sleep any better? xxx and there was me wondering what the pong in his room was when the radiators come on! :eek: :eek: xx

Morning all!

Quite a disturbing morning for me - my OH & his brother are driving up to Edinburgh for a gig & have just seen the little Micra in front of them flip up into the air, hit the crash barrier & land on it's head!!

They both ran to the car to see if anyone was still alive (although they really didn't think there would be) & they ended up pulling a woman from the wreckage, but couldn't get to the other woman that was stuck.

They have looked after the woman they could get out & talked to the other one to re-assure her until the fire brigade have come to cut her out.

Very very scary!! But I am so thankful OH is ok & very proud of them both.


PS FE - no pre-sales code I'm afraid. You have to pay £20 to join the fan club to get the codes.

Oh my god rcb how scary - heros both of them though you are right to be proud. I hope the two women are ok.

Apparantly the woman kept calling them her 'guardian angels' - so she is thankfully ok.

The fire brigade have said the woman in the car will be ok too, but they are still cutting her out of the car & she's then off straight to hospital.

OH has said the woman who was driving said that an articulated lorry sideswiped them, so they have been really lucky to get out ok.

I agree. Poo about the codes but thanks anyway too. I'll just have to stalk the Ticket!!!!!!! website at 9am on Friday like the rest of the plebs.

What's the sound like at MEN? I've heard it's a bit crap. I like the 02 but don't know if I can be arsed with all the travel...

I saw the stereophonics at the MEN a few years ago and there was definitely no problem with the sound! It was fantastic! :j

I love the MEN - plenty of bars & toilets at every block, so the queuing doesn't get ridiculous.

Sound has always been really good for me when I've gone - went to see The Police a few months back & it sounded great!
