Hi Jacey
Don't feel stupid, I have been hear nearly a year and still don't know them all!!!
There is a DFW dictionary at the top of the forum (about 3 or 4 stickies down) that gives all the acronyms and jargon.
Of the ones you posted:
SOA - statement of affairs (basically an account of your income and expenditure)
DPW - sorry, not got a clue??
CCCS - consumer credit counselling service (free to use debt advice organisation - one of the good guys)
IVA - individual voluntary agreement (a way of getting debt free in 5 years but they aren't suitable for lots of people but are often missold by unscrupulous companies, for those that they do work for they can be a godsend but that is very few people in reality - full info here)£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
