Parking around Stranmillis Rd./Danesfort Pk. (US Consulate)?

Hi,

my wife will have to drive to the US consulate later this week. It is located within the Dansford Park on Stranmillis Road.

According to the US Consulate Website there are no parking facilities in Danesfort Park or at the consulate. Does anybody know how the parking situation is in that area is generally in the mornings, or where my wife could park safely?

It's a residential area. Your wife will easily find parking on one of the adjacent streets.

A quick check on google maps (just enter US embassy Belfast and go to satellite view) will give you an idea of what's around the area. I think that the local residents are a bit precious about spaces though.;)
