I like this place but currently my max is £240k,surely it'll drop to £140k eventually?

Well its already lost 9.6% in 4 months, so is another 40% over a couple of years totally impossible?
£310K in June, so £155K after a couple of summers? Who knows. When the owners are getting fed up and facing their THIRD Christmas in a house they no longer wish to be in...

I don't know the area, but it looks quite a nice house. I don't think it will be remain unsold once it dips below the 250 Stamp Duty threshold.18 May 2007 (start of Mortgage):
