Mortgage Offer

At the end of August we had our mortgage approved by Natwest and all relevant paperwork was signed and passed to our solicitor. Since then the actual sale has been delay and it looks like we will complete by the end of the month.
What I'd like to know is will that offer still be valid? I don't have it to hand but I'm sure it was valid for 30 days. Once we signed the paperwork did that make it binding?
Rates have since increased and we're worried we may have to reapply in and end up on a higher rate.

Normally mortgage offers are valid for 3 or 6 months.
I would guess you will be fine, however you will need to check your offer letter or get your solicitor to check their copy.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. We had to retrun the signed paperwork within 14 days for our offer to be valid with YBS. Although, it does not come into force until next month when our old rate expires. If you have signed paperowrk etc.you should be okay I think.0

Thanks for the replies. I checked the acceptance document more carefully and this time found the expiry date which is indeed 3 months, diving us until Decemeber, so panic over.0
