Hi All, My partner who is female 63 has just had to give up her job as her old bones wont take anymore,. she gets state and a small private pension of £32 per month.
The question is could she claim any benefeits for having to give up her work as the firm she worked for would have let her stay until 70?
She has arthritis in her hands and feet and has been under the docs for years,

Maybe she could claim DLA? Get her to check with Age Concern who are very elpful with benefits issues, especially the correct way of filling in the forms. She might also be eligible for some pension credit or passport benefits such as free council tax.
    Trying to keep it simple...;)
