Aldi new Super 6 offers 39p

Aldi's latest Super 6 offerings have now dropped to just 39p...

1kg onions
1kg new potatoes
500g broccoli
1kg carrots
Cauliflower
Savoy/sweetheart cabbage

TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

No broccoli at ours and no sweetheart cabbage(only savoy) ;)

The cauli's were surprisingly different sizes - so picked a larger one :D

    Red grapes are 69p still.

Good buys if you can get them but quality is hit and miss, class2 i imagine, but edible all the same.
  • Went and got some myself, the packaging said class 1 the carrots. Didn't see any mention of a class on the onions or potatos I also bought.

I've never had any second rate fruit or veg from Aldi... Lidl, yes... theirs can be dodgy, but not Aldi (you watch, I'll get a bag full of grotty onions now I've said that).

I've had moldy cherry tomatoes from Aldi - so now I just check the packets before I select which one looks best ;)

Is this Aldi's way of sticking two fingers up at Tesco who have been matching their 6 for 69p offers recently?
Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.

    Quite possibly.

Now keep watching out for Tesco 39p offers.
  • On the whole I think Aldi veg is good value but I find it doesn't keep as well as Sainsbury's. However when they have offers on I stock up to make large quantities of soup to freeze. When peppers are on the 69p offer I buy bagloads as that's my favourite soup, but it is the most expensive to make when paying full price for the peppers.
