You can actually always get free makeovers from the big department stores, you just have to ask - although best to book a time slot in advance just in case they're busy.

I've had several recently as I was deciding what makeup to have for my wedding. They were all very useful and gives you a chance to try products you would otherwise be unsure of. I'd definitely recommend this - it made me realise how poor my usual Clinique foundation actually was!
  • Don't they try to sell you lots of expensive products though

No not at all - well not when I went anyway. I had trials with Dior, Lancome, Estee Lauder and Benefit. All were really friendly helpful people, who never even hinted at pushing me to purchase. They all said to see how it went over the day and if I was unsure of anything I could go back to try again.

Didn't get any attempt to get me to buy at all. Ended up buying some products from each brand as I liked bits of each. I'm not really a makeup person and the thought of going for a makeover in front of everyone in a department store was pretty scary, but it actually was nothing like I imagined and was really worthwhile icon7.gif

Think they all do men. If you want to make sure might be worth ringing the store to ask, but most brands do products for men so I don't see why they wouldn't also do makeovers if requested.
