Hello. Sorry to hear you've been diagnosed with ME, I also have it. I'm 23 and unable to work and as its quite severe I get DLA and YoungPrson Incapcity benefit so there is help out there if you do become unable to work

I remember being left totally wiped out after i was diagnosed and like maytaurus got so fed up of being told to pull myself together, everyone gets tired, or the best of all If you stopped feeling sorry for your self you ld be up and about in no time. My mil used to get really angry with me when hubby had to come home from work and look after the house and the kids (all 6 of them ). Luckily for me My husband was fantastic and knew that I was not just feeling sorry for my self and in the end his belief in me really helped to pull me through.

Luckily there is benefits available these days and it may be helpful to contact the ME society for advice on what you should be getting anf also for help to complete the dla forms ( dont fillthem in yourself).

Good luck and all the best, just try and keep remembering that there is life after M.E even if it does not seem like it sometimes.

    Luv
