FTSE 100 index closed down 7.3% at 4,617.24

But to put the nationwide spin on it is the lowest for 4 years but 40% higher than 2003 low.
Now, will house prices join it in 2003?
My money (assuming the bank hasn't gone bust) is on 'yes'.--
Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.0 -
I hope theres not another bailout or ban on shorting, I don't think the FTSE could stand it0
