    FTSE 100 index closed down 7.3% at 4,617.24

    My money (assuming the bank hasn't gone bust) is on 'yes'.

    Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.

    But the good news after inflation my mortgage is the equiverlent of 50p;)

    As I said today 100% guarantees on deposits is the bailout green light. (so I belive)
