My partner wants to marry me I am in debt he know but not that it would effect his credit rating! It is over £3000 I can't work or I would! I have had a hard life and have been homeless this has left me in a mess and I am paying what I can to clear bills just now and get payment back on track to the others
Tears as I really which I could just have clean slate, not worries and more worries.
anyway if any one out there can help me to sort out a clean slate by July 2010
I would love any help!
Thanks

Definitely people will need to see your incomings, outgoings and debts before they can help you so dont be worried.0

Hi lorrs08 and welcome to DFW! As the others have said, pop up your SoA and we'll see how we can help.
A top tip in the meanwhile is to read up on the advice on this site and hopefully it will give you lots of inspiration and positive thoughts about how to clear your debts and get to be Debt Free.
Good luck and keep posting!

Hi Lorrs - it's only if you have a joint account or are linked financially (joint mortgage) that your credit rating may affect his. Living at the same address isn't going to cause a problem.
Posting up a SOA would help. Are you in a Debt management plan? Are you in Scotland? (Could possibly get the interest stopped if they haven't already). After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110
