I am looking to buy a house and need a mortgage of a 100k. I have been searching some of the banks mortgage rates and seen that HSBC have a life time tracker mortgage of 5.94% with an arrangement fee of £499. Is this a good offer or are there any better offers out there? Would it be worthwhile using a mortgage advisor? or just go direct? Any advice would be much appreciated.
