Hi
Looking at buying a wireless router for my laptop. Is the Dixons deal the best around? I think it is retailing for about £70 for the Belkin package, if anyone has a wireless connection how good is it?? is it just as good as being hard-wired to the modem?
Cheers
Phil

Belkin are quite good for modems, I would shop around for the model tho. At the moment the telco's are upgrading all there adsl services so to be future profff I would go for one that supports the adsl spec.0

Check out online stores and use Kelkoo etc for price comparison.
I doubt Dixon will be a market leader on price.
I have bought 2 refurb Netgear wireless routers from e-bay and have been very happy with them.
They came with 30 days warranty as well. If they work when you first unpackages them chances are they'll stay working.
The seller is justdeals-uk. Over 46,000 feedback rating.

eBay tends to be good for things like this, it's where my housemate got ours from a couple of years ago. You might have to buy the router seperate from the USB dongless / wireless cards tho...0
