Transfer query

In general terms what is the current thinking on transfers ? : I have 1. personel pension Standard life (not currently adding to) 2. A company final salary scheme from former employer (American parent company) 3. Current employer final salary scheme.
Would it be better to transfer No.2. into Standard Life scheme or my current employer scheme ? (or leave where it is)
I am in my late 30`s and expect to remain with present employer 10 years +

Final salary schemes are revalued by inflation annually and are pretty risk free these days, so they are usually best left well alone.

You could consider transferring your SL one into your current final salary scheme if they will accept it and offer reasonable terms.

Would I be right in thinking this is a very bad time to transfer SL monies ?
Wait for stock market to go back up ?
