Just bought the MOS MP3 Stix Lite Player 256MB from Tesco for £9.97! Have not used it yet but looks a bargain for the money. I think it was the last one at the Aylesbury branch but they had some 128MB ones left (Sorry not sure how much).

The only thing that might be an issue is that it does not have a lcd screen.
