i'm after a knitting pattern for gloves (adults and children) to knit on two needles and using DK wool. I've searched on various web sites but can't seem to find anything. Anyone know of where I could find one?
Thanks in advance.

saving pennies,
I've found lots of knitting links for you and I'm sure most of them are available online:

There's one that mentions gloves, I think it is the link to Rebecca magazine, you probably need adobe acrobat reader for some of these, so if you haven't got it, you can download it for free at

Hope this is of some help to you!!0 -

This has a lot of patterns (explore, it has separate sections for other items too)

and knitting.about.com is always worth a look too, once you learn to navigate through the ads
I made my first ever pair of mittens - and actually, first ever knitted item - from this Sirdar pattern but I don't think it is available online.
I'm having a go at my first gloves now :eek:0 -

This is a nice pattern for some modern gloves knitted on two needles

I wanted to knit children's gloves and couldn't find a pattern anywhere despite googling all sorts of sites. Eventually I found an old knitting book fromm the 1970s with a pattern for gloves knitted on four needles which I was able to adapt for a children's size. DD2 loves them - she has to have grey knitted gloves for school and I did a pair in cashmere type wool which is warm and doesn't itch. If anyone wants the pattern PM me and I'll type it upIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

I was also looking for some normal gloves for children, they all seem to be fingerless ones!
Should find some on here though, thanks0
