it's probably been posted before but i think its worth posting now due to the economic climate.
Basically its people in your area giving away all types of free stuff.
Some of its rubbish, but occasionally you get some really good finds.

i agree freecycle is great but you do have to be quick- most of the stuff in my house is fromthere- we're moving soon and i'm going to be putting most of our stuff back on there- that's really recycling!!!
i'm intrigued echelon101- how do you calculate your Cost of Procrastination = £110.14 ? lol!... and whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should ...0 -

I have been a member for over 2 years & It's a great place to get rid of your unwantables, even better is to get stuff you want. I have filled a house with freebies,my son & his girl's pad has also get the free treatment. I got a glass cabinet for free that cost well over a £1,000, 9 kitchen doors from Ikea, they cost £80.00 each! Camcorder,t.v's......My list goes on!!!
My unwantables get snapped up all the time, when hubby & i cut our trees down most of the trunks were advertised on the site for log burners & they were snapped up,we couldn't cut them quick enough!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Best place's are the free ones!!!
