Free UK Map - Daily Star. Wanna Complain

In yesterday's Daily Star there was an offer for a free AA Road Atlas worth 6.99, redeemable at WH Smith.

I really, really wanted this and drove in to Slough to pick up the paper and get my atlas.

The lady behind the counter told me the Atlas' had not come in.

I wanna complain. But as I didn't buy the paper - I put it back - who do I complain to?

I saw someone else couldn't get a copy.

Fair enough if they'd sold out. But the woman told me the stock didn't actually arrive.

Anyone else have the same experience?

And if someone has the address of the co behind the offer, if you could list it here, it would be much appreciated.

I had exactly the same experience in the Hounslow branch, which is not too far from Slough.Apparently the atlas' did not arrive.

Maybe it was a problem in our area?

I'm in Norfolk and in our local WH Smiths, we were told the atlas's were never delivered , what a swizz....

Maybe write a letter or email to their head office and cc to Fair Trading Office?

Do you complain to WH Smith or Daily Star?

Or was it the AA cos they were doing the Atlas?
