tonight's trial and tribulation is this, posted over half-an-hour ago on another thread.......

why on earth do we (parents) agree to the evil ones (our kids) having a sleepover for thier birthday treat

I currently have an 11 and 5 day-y-o and an 8-in-2 days-y-o and thier 12y-o friend who have still got more energy and show no signs of going to sleep yet, whilst mrs G-J went to bed hours ago and I'm falling asleep typing this

    ..never again

..and I've just had to go up to them again

    ..much more coffee needed ;)

Hee Hee, sounds fun GJ! We have put up the new trampoline for the kids today so they have worn themselves out on that, I am tempted to have a go myself but at 1 in the morning it would look a bit strange!

    Howdy bigbum, hows you? x

I'm honoured your 3000th post was shared with me :rotfl:. My mum used to say the same thing to me about not having kids. In between yelling at us, i hope she at least found me and my sisters to be cute sometimes. lol

So what's on the menu then as a late night snack?

Love the usernames on this site...Gunjack and Penguin :T :rotfl:.

HAnx bb :) kids have just demolished the last piece of Tuesday's birthday cake and half a dozen MiniRolls between them......

got to agree, some of the usernames on this and other forums can be really smart..much better than things like "nwiliams23" or other such pants :D...for the record, mine is from a much-used games character, but he suits me very well ;) where does yours come from, if you don't mind me asking :rotfl: ;)

Ahem, *cough* well let's say i buy my big sensible knickers from Evans :rotfl:.

I'm a dullard and don't play any computer games :o. GunJack sounds very striking. I'm thinking, a bit like Clint Eastwood in, 'The Good, the bad and the ugly'. Does this describe you well? :rotfl:

nowt wrong with big knicks from evans, means you've got a proper bum to put in 'em, not like these bony skinny types :) ..and GunJack's more like cyborg with some killer moves and the best flat-top mohican I've ever seen ;)
