    computers deffo....most gadgets just wind me up :( loads of faffing around with them for no real benefit, e.g. all-singing, all-dancing phones which take soooo long to set up and operate you could have called everyone in your contacts list and chatted to in the time it takes to get the bloody thing working properly :mad:

    sleepytime here almost, just stoppin in to say hi.

    XP is best windows, but linux ubuntu looks cool somewhat with the rotating cube desktop. use vista at work, its hard to get your head around but cool after that.

    man that still all moaning !!!!!!!s at save & invest forum - "meiow dont spend £20k on a house deposit now prpices are just falling and interest rates suck" - yeah, well so does big donkey balls, see anyoen else complaining whinebagz!?

    According to Moneybox live on radio 4 yesterday, now is a good time to buy if you have the "right" deposit, with rates unlikely to get any lower....even SVRs are around 3% !!! fixed rates also pretty good...do the sums and decide what's right for you :)

    fixed at 5.6% for 5yrs, now in yr 2 of that cycle.

    put 10% down too.

    I agree (about Vista being crap - XP being best, ubuntu being cool, and house prices being rocky but affordable)
