nice one piglet :) been thinking about taking up this drinking thing again, for medicinal purposes, but been off it sooo long now not sure if I should

..I should point out that I went off beer 20+ yrs ago, so just stopped all alcohol...not an ex-alkie or anything like that...

I'd never call you cheap piggie :D we've got to have a health-drive in new year due to various issues, and one of the things we were debating was the red wine issue....even when I did drink, I never could stand the stuff !! so, it it really worth giving up the no-alcohol thing for something that may have a small health benefit, that I can't stand

Oohh, wish I could say the same. once I've opened a bottle of wine I feel it's rude to put it back in the fridge. Wouldn't want it to go off or anything 'cause then I'de have to pour it sown the drain and that isn't very MS:p

    Hiya folks

Wow this is a busy thread here :D , hope you don't mind me joining you :o.

Hope you all had a very Merry Xmas too  .

I don't normally drink either, I don't like that next day feeling _pale_ , may just have a baileys on new years eve meaning its my wedding anniversary as well, but that's it :D .

I normally spend time on the reclaiming threads and sometimes the disability forum as well as I have a son with ASD - Special needs.

Anyway, good to meet you all.

Hi there PinkTwirl and thank you  ;) .

I must sort out my finances in the new year, I know everyone thinks the same, hubby lost his job at the beginning of Dec, not helped by the credit crunch, and the insurances take their time dealing with claims, such as for the mortgage etc, with a bit of luck it will get sorted out soon, as I understand with xmas in the way...... .

I care full time for my 13 year old son who has Aspergers syndrome and anxiety disorders, I also home educate him now as well, as the school could do no more for him regarding the bullying, as he was getting tortured:mad: , and there is nothing else suitable for him around here...... but never mind I am coping okay.;)

Oh golly look at me going on about my life story  :o lol oops :D .

I do have an older son he is 20 and working, thank goodness so that's some help.;)
