hello - bit early tonite, but prob won't be on later

just thought I would share I had a lovely day today with the kids on half term quite MSE as well -

went into Oxford and had breakfast at Maison Rouge using my free breakfast vouchers (only had to buy the coffee), then chilled out looking in the shop windows, then had a nice hour in the Egyption section of the Ashmolean museum -

then for a bit of retail we went into primark and got a few cheap jumpers for the kids, then wondered down to the river and had a pint at the Head of the River pub looking at the world (and some ducks) go by under the non-environmental but very welcome patio heaters.

back to the car via Krispy Kreme donuts and had a look at an outdoor photography exhibition - then home for a nap on the sofa.

not completely MSE but not too dear.

anyway hope you had a good day

That sounds like a lovely day - I wish mine had gone like that!
I was up at 6 am to take my DD1 to Manchester for work experience (100mile round trip in rush hour!) got hom at 9.30 - exhausted - wanted to do something fun ith DD3 and DS felt too tired, got a sore neck and it was soooo wet here so staying home and vegged! (did make apple muffins eventually!) Found out ex pleading not guilty on his harassment charge so I will heve to go to court on Dec 5th to give evidence (scared and stressing about it already!)
Went back to pick DD 1 up - got stuck in traffic! Got hom at 7 too tired to cook so spent £16 on chinese - had huge fight with DD2 - and now feel tired, fat and miserable!!!!

    Roll on tomorrow! lol

Ahh Judi, tomorrow is another day.And "fat" isnt a feeling!

Lots of people opt for court, then do a deal on the day. Doesnt mean you will have to give evidence. Anyway, you have come this far,you have to stand tall, so what if you do? Go have your day in court!

    Hey Judi

I have had days like yours (just not today) and you have had days like mine (just not today).

So don't be too down on yourself, sounds like you have done all you can today for all your kids (especially with your bad weather).
