Help - Jetix comic possible win query

My son was reading his new copy of Jetix and his name and our town appear in the Winners (Issue 53) list for the WALLE compo (a Wii & game).

Now obviously this may not be for us, there may be another child in the town with the same name after all, but is there any way to check as we have heard nothing from them. The magazine it is published in was released last week of September and the competition was entered in August. Has anyone else ever won a Jetix competition from one of the posted in entry forms? Does it take long to hear from them?

I think it would be best to email them for confirmation.

Do you live in a fairly small town? Is your son's name unusual?

Even though it was the Magazine, I would email them: webmaster_uk@jetixeurope.net and maybe they could let you know who to contact of they can't help.

My dd won with the website and they contacted me by 'phone and her prize was delivered very quickly.

I would say the chance of another child in your town having exactly the same name as your son entering the same competition is fairly slim. It would be very unlucky if it was another child.

I have this problem with comping because I have a very common name so if I look at winner's lists, I never know if it's me or not!

Yes it is my DS that has won the Wii :j:j

There has been a bit of a mix-up with the prizes that were sent to them so its in the process of being sorted out so the lovely lady I spoke to said that it is going to be a bit of time before its sorted out but its definitely him!

So although it was not through the boards directly I want to say a huge thanks for getting me interested in competitions that rubbed off on DS for him to fill in the magazine one!
