Help Dealing with Debt Collection Agency

Hi,

I am over my overdraft limit by £250 and my details have been passed on to Albion collections and receiving daily phonecalls from them. I am paying in around £35 per month but the interest is added at £35 per month. Last month September the net difference was 11p once interest was added. I am making payments to the branch. Where do I go from here? Where is this likely to go from here?

Total balance is around £2200 and I am being charged interest on the whole balance even though the first £1950 is supposed to be interest free.

Nothing really constructive to say, but this post'll bump it back up the list and hopefully someone will pick it up.

  • Depends what solution you require.
If your overdraft is full of charges you need to look at martins excellent guide to reclaiming.
If you want to sort this debt out without going to court would recomment the free use of consumer credit council services.
If you feel you can justify your repayments in court write advising Albion to take you to court.
If you just want to stop the phone calls simply keep a diary of all calls, duration and time and advice Albion you will be complaining to ofcom.
    Hope some of this helps
