In a bit of a hole..

I've been hiding away from my ever-growing debt and now it's caught up with me I took out a loan shortly after losing my job thinking it would support me while I get back on my feet but the problem there is I haven't found a job yet and I've gone well over my over-draft and I've just gone back into education. It's all mounting up and the pressure is bad.

So what I wanted to ask..
Would this be cause to claim bankruptcy? it's the last thing in the world i want to do but my morale has sunk to an all time low and trying to find a job to repay my loan and over-draft is piling on.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

The best place to start here is to post your SOA, the link is above. This is a list which shows us all your incomings/outgoings and then any debts and their APR's.

As you are out of work make sure you have claimed for everything you are entitled to.

It would also be a good idea to ring one of the free debt charities as per Numptys link as they will go through all the options available to you.

    Good luck.
