No Idea What To Do

I am 25 and my partner is 26.
I am self-employed and my partner works just under a 'normal' week for pittance. He works to help out with my unsecured means of employment.
Neither of us have anything saved for a pension. We have a few thousand in savings (ISA).
Where should I go to seek advice? I am worried about saving.
I have to worry about money now, not what may happen 40 years down the line.
This Government is living in cloud cuckoo land. Do they not realise we have to pay bills (ever increasing) and tax? Not all of us are on footballers' wages!!

i agree becky, the only money i could maybe save is my daughters dla and i dont see why i should, also if you save too much it will make us worse of for claiming housing benifit etc.
the government should realise that people on £15000 or less a year just cannot save,
looks like we'll be eating value beans years down the line as i have a protected state pension due to being a carer which will then be worth £82 per week wont get very far with that.0 -
Being a pessimist, I really cannot think of getting to 65 and beyond!! :wall: :A
I feel like a 95 year old at the age of 25 so there isn't much hope. :rotfl: :rotfl:0
