Buying a watch

Hi
I am thinking of buying a watch from a UK website
However, they have told me that they keep the official warranty certificate and instead you get an invoice which acts as the warranty.
Has anyone had dealings with them or bought a watch from them?

I have not bought from them but I have bought from other online watch retailers such as:
http://www.aatime.com/ and prestigetime.com
The crux of what they do is they sell you a watch that is brand new but there is no manufacturers warranty, instead they back it up with their own over whatever period is offered (usually 2 yrs).
From my understanding they source watches in cheaper markets and usually buy in bulk for a further discount so you may buy a watch that they bought 2 months ago, meaning the warranty has already been dated, but for me this wasnt an issue.
Swiss watches are built like no others and the Brietling and IWC items I bought have been fine.
At the end of the 2 years theyre no different as the warranty has expired, some people like the original warranty card when they come to sell but for me I bought them to keep and wear.0 -
Thanks vincenz that has given me a better insight into to this market.
I have looked at both of those website but neither seem to do the Rado Sinatra r13337722 ladies watch i am looking for. However, i will ring them on Monday to see if they can source one.
Have you come across a uk website who stock the watch but they only show a box office address in London which doesn’t inspire with confidence.
