A bankruptcy can be refused if another option is more appropriate.
Seek advice from CCCS. They have an online debt remedy which is handy.
Also National Debt Line are good but lines are often very busy.

Yes, our DMP was with CCCS but even they now agree br is really our only option, buy thanks for the advice.

Dorothy, at the end of the day all the judge has in front of him is the form you fill it. He'll look at 4 pieces of information, your income, your outgoings, your debts and your assets. In your case you have no assets, so all he will look at is your debts, income and outgoings. He won't be sitting there with a calculator working out if you can go on a DMP, he'll see your debts are not serviceable in reation to your income and outgoings and stick his juicy rubber stamp on it.
They only spend a few minutes looking at your form and would only refuse BR if you had assets worth more than your debts.
As for putting your SoA here, don't worry, if it makes you feel better leave of some 0's:p . Honestly no-one will judge you, your income is relative to the size of your household, not to what everone else earns.
