Getting rid of stains on wooden bathroom shelves and kitchen wood floor?

Can anyone help me with some advice on how to get rid of stains on wood bathroom shelves please? They were caused by my flatmate leaving shaving gel lids, toothpaste etc on the shelf. The landlord/ owner of the flat is coming to check it on Sunday (as we are moving out soon) so anything which improves it would be great. There are also stains/ marks on the wood kitchen floor from milk and water leaking from the fridge when spilt (flatmate again!) Have tried a wooden floor cleaner without success.

There are pictures of the damage here as it's easier than trying to explain it:

The first 3 pics are the bathroom shelf, the last 3 are the kitchen floor. Clicking on any pic will enlarge it.

Thanks!!
