Family Meal near M40???
Hi,
We're going to be travelling South on DS2's birthday (6) and staying in the travelodge at Cherwell Valley that night. I was hoping someone might be able to give me some idea of a good place for us to stop for a meal - something that a 6 year old would enjoy - and not too far out of our way. We're going to Warwick Castle in the afternoon, so between Warwick and Cherwell Valley somewhere.
To give you an idea of the type of place I'm looking for - the birthday boy would be happy with Pizza Hut, but I'm hoping for somewhere that might put a sparkler in a knickerbocker glory for him!!!_party_
Thanks in advance

Theres a hungry horse just outside bicester shopping village, about 5 mins off jct 9 of M40. Staff are quite friendly and may do the sparkler thing.
Toby carvery on the way into banbury, 5 mins from jct (11, I think) -not been before, pizza hut a little bit further along the same road.
Porridge Pot at jct 15 just 5mins from warwick castle. Service not particularly brilliant.
I'd give them a ring and see if they will sparkler for you!
Or look at

see if anything grabs you.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I would suggest the Toby in Banbury too, it is cheap and quite good. Or there is Frankie and Bennys next door. They are both just off the Banbury M40 junction so you don't have to drive through Banbury to get to them.0
