I think it's doubtful unless your kids have the same initials.
Can't you open an account in the name that you use?Torgwen.....................

My advice would be to pay it in over the counter over a busy lunch hour, and try and make some chit chat with the cashier. With luck he or she wont notice the chq is in a different name to the account (esp if its paid in with other chqs) and you may get away with it!! Most banks process chqs using big machines, and rarely scrutinise each chq individually, and normally if its over a certain amount, usually £5000.
Its worth a try!!!!
MatthewI'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore :beer:0 -
thanks - i think i will give it a try - like i said earlier i have waited 7months for this refund from index/littlewoods and i know littlewoods will be closing soon - knowing my luck i will post it back and they will shut - but, then i could stall it by paying it in and having it rejected - aaarrghghg, dont know now.......0

As you've waited so long, would it be much more of a wait to open a new account?Torgwen..........

i phoned them yesterday and they are going to re-issue the cheque and send it out a.s.a.p - ive told them i am not parting with the one i have till i get that one and then will return it to them - they must be very trusting because they agreed - i didnt think they would...they have promised i will have it by monday at the latest....0
