Came across this amazing application for iPhone today. It's a eBook reader with built in online library access. You can download free public domain books from authors like:
Hundreds of free classics at your fingertips. Also features some magazine articles but this selection is quite limited and most of them are just summaries.
I guess this is not for you if you don't like reading off a screen. However the iPhone/iPod application is perfect for me.
Also available for free on Windows and Mac. They plan to charge for the full version, so grab it quick!
