Curry's warranty return query

I bought a VAX carpet washer last year for £100 with an extended warranty thrown in. Its now 15mths on and starts leaking everywhere.
Before i take it back this weekend seeking some advice to deal effectively with Currys so i dont get fobbed off by them.
On the website they dont sell the same model, and the nearest model they have with teh same features is now £150!
Will they replace the machine even if the new equivalent model is more expensive, or does that mean i have to pay the difference?
any advice welcome.....
(my advice dont buy a VAX - its already 2nd machine and we dont use it much!)

You have the value of your original purchase to exchange your item, however if a carpet washer isnt available for that price they have to offer you the cheapest carpet washer they sell. However there is currently a Vax carpet washer for £99.99 in the sale (Product Code 389052)0
