If anybody wants to actually take out Life Insurance through L+G, Cashback Kings and Quidco are offering 80.00 Cashback atm, the transaction would need to be carried out wholly on line though.

Despite what it said in the Metro and on their web site When I phoned up I was told that if you don't take out an insurance policy you don't get a pen:mad:

The female who told me this is called Lucy. so if you phone don't ask for Lucy unless you intend to buy a policy!

I intend to complain to Trading Standards about a misleading advert in the METRO as I am a sad person!

Life on an oil tanker must be different to what it was 40 odd years ago.

Myself and the other junior engineer officers were more frightened of the chief engineer than we would have been of any pirates. He would have sorted them out single-handed

Even if you get a free pen a life quote can take quite some tim and the pens are quite cheap Parker ones. Not sure I could go therogh the hard sell for it. Free though!

I just received mine today having applied for one for my mum, it's lovely, shame it says their name on it though.
