Addicted to this forum

Have to admit, I've become addicted to this forum.

After spending too much time on my own, sorting out my debts, without anyone to share the ups and downs with, its got kinda lonely.

So yahoo for this forum :j I'm still not debt-free but I'm getting there. And I have lots of people here to glean tips from, or even just have a moan about life (as we all have to do occasionally).

Still taking lots of baby steps. Yesterday, I went through my credit report form Experian and realised I'd got some store card accounts that I haven't used in ages. So I've written the letters to get them closed. I've started to go through the DD and SOs that come out of my bank account and spotted a couple that are not need any more, so thats Monday's job ... to get rid of them. Only a few quid involved, but it all adds up.

And I've found out that the pile of used printer cartridges in the study from the old printer can be recycled via Tesco and gain clubcard points. The OH is doing some OU courses so that can go towards paying for the next course.

I feel as though I've got a new hobby .... money saving. I'm becoming a debt-buster and a savings squirrel.

Thank you all on this site

  • I know exactly what you mean. This forum is more than a forum to me. I've gained so many good friends on here who have shared so many ups and downs with me... debt and non debt related... I couldn't imagine not being here..

I think what IA says sums it up for me too.

This forum is brilliant for good times and bad times and the support you get on here is amazing. I know I would still have my head in the sand and being spending on credit if it wasn't for all the peeps on here :T
