Pre-Bailiff?

Thanks, redgirl,
Yes, they have a CCJ on me and I have made a couple of late payments. When I called the company to find out if they had arranged a pre-bailiff visit they said it was because some of my payments were late and I have to pay £1200 -
There is no legal basis for this visit and there is no legal basis for the charge.
You can ring NDL unitl either 8-09pm http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/debt-help-plan#help
And also check the OFT Guidelines.
Visits are to be by mutial agreement only. There is no obligation for you to agree. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
I have just contacted the National Debtline and it appears that a Pre-Bailiff visit is the next step from gaining a warrant. The fee that they are asking for is not legal and I have been advised to make a complaint to the courts.0
