Feeling silly for worrying.

My debt (as you can probably see from my sig) is actually quite small (Heck i've seen people owe more on their gas bill alone!) but it's destroying me.

I suffer from depression, have for years, and even though this is minor really it's still dragging me back down. I'm getting help for that but that's treating the symptom, not the cause.

Anyway, my debts have come throuh my own poor money management, i have no-one else but myself to blame for this. And now i have to clear up my own mess.

My debt is in two places, £700 oweing to one of those payday advance places (i know, i know, freaking stupid of me, but it seemed like easy money and the answer to my prayers at the time) This is costing me about £100 a month to renew cheques i cna't afford to pay back. If i paid off one cheque a month i'd still have to renew the others, and that's money i don't have.

The 2nd is an HSBC overdraft to the tune of £1,700, this isn't quite so bad except thanks to an unexpected door-repair bill two months ago (got burgled) i ended up going into unauthorised overdraft, which they fined me £100 () for, thanks to that fee i ende dup in unauthorised overdraft again this month, causing another £100 fee.

And now i'm being chased by a company who i did owe money to but paid because their computer system keeps insisting i still owe them! (My account shows as zero when an advisor has a look at it)

I'm at the end of my rope now os i just cna't escape this and i don't know what to do.
