Little Einsteins for our non-satellite, dvd region 2 house

We've seen at a friend's house a couple of times a show called Little Einsteins on Playhouse Disney. My son LOVES it and is captivated, but since we're not on Sky (and have no plans to spend the money that would entail) and have only a region 2 dvd player, I'm a bit stuck for what to do. You can get a region 1 dvd of the original pilot episode, but I don't know how I'd get that on our telly ...

Short of paying someone to tape the TV series for me, what can I do?
