Mis-sold Loan/PPI Reclaim from GE Capital

I have just looked through some old paperwork and discovered a car finance agreement dating to Sept 2004. This was for car finance from Carcraft in Newport with finance through GE Capital bank. The first thing I noticed was that PPI had been added, we have not taken out PPI on any finance since 1998 as I discovered it wasn't worth the paper is was written on! I also noticed that whilst it said this was optional the tick box had already been filled in with a computer generated 'tick' this PPI added a further £45 to the monthly payment.

I have also noticed that our copy of the credit agreement is not signed by GE Capital or an agent from Carcraft.

I know we have a chance to claim the PPI back but is there a case for reclaiming the loan itself as the credit agreement is not signed? We have since paid this off but I can't remember when.

Any advice gratefully appreciated!!

    Hiya hun
Please do you think you could copy and paste this to save you writing it all again on to the PPI reclaim - discussion thread, there you will receive some advice and a guide of where to go from here.

However, its worth trying to pursue this.;)

Hope to see on on the above mentioned thread.
