Can anyone tell me what Tax credit means on my dividend payment sheet from the shares i have.
At the bottom of the the sheet it says This voucher should be kept. It will be accepted by HM Revenue and customs as evidence of a Tax credit.
I was wandering if i had to take any action regarding this.
Regards.

A Tax Credit is a notional 10% tax deduction from your dividend. It is never refundable. You will probably not have to do anything with it unless you complete tax returns in which case there is a box on the form for you to declare the dividend you received. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
