Just applied for CitiBank.. Q&A?

..got an email confirming my application and that I need to send in 2 forms of ID; an bill / statement and a certified copy of my passport? How do I get a certified copy of it; I require one as I am not on the electoral roll??

Is this just to confirm my application or has it been successful and i need proof of ID just to open it?

Anybody opened a CitiBank and know how long it takes?

I opened one last week, got the letter of approval yesterday asking for a bank statement only.

Take your Passport to the bank and ask the manager to say "Yes, that's dlscott"

Apparently it'll take 3 to 4 weeks longer after you send it all back.

Is this a CitiBank credit card? If so, scrap the application and go elsewhere because they're an utterly shocking company.

I got that far, send the docs in and got a letter declining afterwards. I was a bit peed off as I had filled in the application online and expected to be refused then; instead it was another 2/3 weeks before I was refused!
